We recommend that all patients see our hygienist on a regular basis. Some individuals may require more frequent cleaning than others. Upon every visit, we check your gum status and look for any indication of tooth fractures or potential cavities. Once a year, we recommend that you have an x-ray. X- rays help us diagnose possible decay between your teeth; they also allow us to verify the bone structure supporting your teeth and to evaluate existing fillings.
You will find our hygienists very thorough and yet gentle. With your consent and co-operation they will tailor a plan to assist you in achieving the best possible periodontal health. Once established, our excellent recare system enables our patients to maintain their attractive smiles and oral health, easily and conveniently. Remember, preventive dentistry is the foundation to retaining your teeth for life. Regular maintenance has been proven to be the least costly way to maintain good oral health over the long term.
